Establish the motivation
Main practice:
From emptyness appears a multicolored lotus
Upon which is a sun with a golden-yellow DZAM (on it)
I become golden Dzambhala with a semi-wrathful face
Right hand holding a citron fruit and
Left hand grasping a mongoose emitting a shower of jewels
Wearing a crown of the Five Buddhas
And adorned with a garland of blue utpala-flowers and many jewels and heavenly clothing.
Both feet pressing on the great treasures (such as) ‘Conch-Owner’ and ‘Lotus-Owner’
In my forehead is a white OM
The throat is a red AH
And in the heart is a blue HUNG
From these three syllables shine forth multicolored lights
The gathering of Wisdom-beings and the Empowerment-deities dissolves (into myself)
Visualization during mantra-recitation:
At the heart is a golden-yellow DZAM circled by a golden-yellow mantra garland with light radiating
Making offerings to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, gathering back their blessings
Purifying the obscurations of all sentient beings of the Three Realms
Establishing all in the state of Peace and accomplishing all the enlightened-activities
The light returns and dissolves into the mantra-garland and the seed-syllable
OM DZAMBHALA DZALENDRAYE SVĀHĀ
Offerings:
OM VAJRA ARGHAM/ PĀDYAM/ PUSHPE/ DHŪPE/ ĀLOKE/ GANDHE/ NAIVEDYĀ/ SHABDA/ PRATĪCCHA SVĀHĀ
Praise:
Lord of Wealth, owner of precious treasures
Master of many yaksha keepers of wealth
Guardian of the North, Protector Dzambhala
Wealth-deity, granter of supreme accomplishments – I prostrate and praise!
Dedication:
By this virtue, may I swiftly
Attain the state of the Noble Dzambhala
And (may I) establish all beings without exception
In that very same state
